Social Networking

Today, I would like to talk about the most popular social network which we use every day.  Facebook is a global social networking site introduced in 2004 and it's available in various languages and countries all over the world. It is available on laptops,  phones, tablets etc. Each user is able to create a personal profile, containing list of friends, photos and information. Facebook helps us to keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues by online posts, chatting forums or messages.  We can update our status, add comments to photos or share links.
Additionally, we can join a variety of groups, events, activities, add schools and workplace to our profile information. Facebook is a website which provides lots of games and other applications, such us daily horoscopes, photo editing, shopping offers and adverts.

From the other side, I believe that time-consumption is the one of the most common disadvantages of Facebook. It can be very addictive and time consuming in commenting, viewing other's pictures, playing games and many more.

The next of the major concern or disadvantage of Facebook is privacy.  We have to be careful not to give too much personal detail of our life, in risk of hackers stealing personal data or sending viruses and spam emails. The social network can affect our professional life. The offensive posts about employer or work colleagues can resort to unemployment.

In my opinion, Facebook has good and bad aspects, but
it is up to us to balance the impact of social networking in our life.
We are responsible for the status', comments or photos we have posted online because all this information are available for the public.
